This is a {Advertised Permanent / Temporary}, {Advertised Full Time / Part Time} vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

Working on-site at one of our HMP Low Newton secure units, our Employment Coaches recognise and record the progress and achievement of prisoners working within the prison. They are responsible for the delivery and assessment of personal development and employability skills, supporting prisoners to build their Employment and Training Portfolios in preparation for their release. They will manage a caseload of prisoners, coaching and assessing them in their place of work, supported by workplace supervisors. 

This is a part time role working 18.75 hours per week.

How can you stand out from the crowd?

You will need to demonstrate high ethical standards, take personal accountability for everything you do, and always want to be the best. Ideally you will have some experience in an Information and Guidance, or Employability focused role. You should be able to engage with individuals with complex needs in an empathetic and impactful manner and believe every individual’s ability to make positive changes in their life. You will ned to confident working in a secure environment and be committed to making a difference to the lives of the prisoners you engage with.
